Fairer Recruitment Project

Perrett Laver are currently supporting the ECB with the Fairer Recruitment Programme, a key project as part of the 12 point action plan to tackle racism and all forms of discrimination in the game. Fairer Recruitment is aimed at providing best practice guides and toolkits to those involved in the recruitment of all performance, leadership and administrative roles, following a comprehensive diagnostic review of current practices, knowledge, commitment and confidence.

Introduction

As an initial step in this project it involves gathering insights from key stakeholders on their experiences with recruitment processes, so that we can develop solutions that are bespoke, relevant, and practical, enabling the ECB to embed best-in-class hiring processes across the game.

We have created a survey which encourages stakeholders to reflect on their experience as a decision maker and/or candidate in recruitment processes, and would be most grateful if you could spare 15 minutes to complete it via the following link.

The survey should take approximately 15 minutes to complete, and all responses will be anonymised and non-attributable. We encourage responses to be candid and open; this exercise is about designing solutions fit for the future, not attributing blame or exposing poor practice.

We thank you for your collaboration in this process. We would also be grateful for your support in sharing this link with any relevant contacts. The survey is designed to capture the breadth of activity across the Game and be as representative as possible.
