Perrett Laver undertook a global search across all major markets
We have worked with the College on a number of roles, including the Head of Architecture and the Head of Electrical Engineering. Our search for this role was focused on top global institutions specialising in industrial and product design, in particular subjects including human-computer interaction, manufacturing engineering and digital innovation.
The successful candidate has been Cees De Bont, the 3x Dean of the world’s leading design schools (Delft University of Technology, Loughborough University and Hong Kong Polytechnic University) who brings significant experience in industry (10 years Philipps Royal Electronics). He is an internationally acclaimed and prominent senior administrator in the field of industrial design and will be an asset to NUS and its newly merged College of Design and Engineering.
Since Professor De Bont’s appointment, Perrett Laver has supported the University on another Head search (Head of Mechanical Engineering).
