Michel Farkas appointed as new Chief Executive Officer at KIT

Over more than 20 years, Michel has built extensive experience in both the humanitarian aid as well as the international development sector. In his different positions, he has been leading change and transition processes, bringing stability and financial sustainability to value-based organizations.

Michel started his career in the commercial sector, in human resources and management positions at KPN (Royal Dutch Telecom). In 2002, he moved to the humanitarian sector, working for Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF) as Director of Resources. In 2011, he moved to SNV as the Managing Director of Global Support Services/CFO. In this position he was one of the driving forces in the transition SNV has made from an organization subsidized by the Dutch foreign ministry into an entirely project-financed international NGO.
