Before joining Ecologic Institute, Christoph Heinrich worked in the management bodies of WWF Germany for 19 years, including as Chief Executive Officer (CEO) from 2022 to 2023. His work at WWF Germany was defined in particular by the 17 years (2006 to 2023) as Chairman for Nature Conservation, a position he retained during his time as CEO.
Ecologic Institute is looking forward to starting this new era. Christoph Heinrich’s extensive network and expertise in management, strategic planning, and communication will be of great value in further strengthening Ecologic Institute’s transdisciplinary research and educational initiatives. The change in leadership promises stability and new energy for the Institute’s work to shape a sustainable future.
He will assume his position on 1 August 2024.
